Turner Hastings Birmingham Toilet Seat - High Gloss

Designed to suit the Birmingham Toilet range. Say goodbye to the intrusive slam of a toilet seat with a Turner Hastings' soft-closing seat. Made from MDF composite material which provides a warmer feel and a high gloss finish to match the ceramic glaze. Swivel fixings allow it to suit a range of fixing hole locations on different brands of toilet pans.

Warranty

• Warranty begins on the invoice date from the retailer to the consumer. Where the retailer has held the stock for more than 12 months, warranty begins from the date the stock was purchased from Turner Hastings.
• Cover is 1 year parts and labour; any claim made after that period is for parts only. Wear parts — washers, seals and hoses — are covered for 1 year.
• Toilet seats, stainless steel grids and rubber sink mats are replacement-only.
• Commercial use — any shared or public space such as hotels, short-stay accommodation, workplaces and similar multi-user environments — carries the commercial term stated for the product class.
• The product must be installed by a licensed tradesperson, following all installation instructions. Water pressure must not exceed 500 kPa and pipes must be flushed before installation.
• Inspect the product before installation. There is no labour claim where a product was installed while faulty.
• Warranty excludes misuse, damage and improper installation. Natural material variations of up to 2 per cent are normal, and a discontinued item is replaced with a similar product.

Toilets

A toilet seat that comes loose with continued use is not covered by warranty. It is the installer’s responsibility to fit the seat correctly, and the owner’s to tighten it periodically with the correct sized screwdriver — never a power drill.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Cleaning & Care

• Wipe over with a soft cloth and soapy water. Abrasive cleaners will remove the surface gloss and must not be used.
• Check the tightness of the seat-to-pan fixing kit at regular intervals, as continual loosening over time does occur.
