Thermogroup Thermomirror Demister Pad 500x500mm

Thermomirror Demister Pads are an ultra-thin demister pad that provides a clear and condensation-free mirror even after a hot bath or shower. These pads are fully self-adhesive for attaching to the back of your mirror and have a single 240V connection point for easy installation. These demister pads are covered by a 10 year warranty.

The TM5050 is 500x500mm and is suitable for mirrors of 600x600mm or larger. It is designed to fit between hangers on larger rectangle mirrors. For more details see the FAQ section.

Typically a mirror fogs up due to the difference in temperature of the mirror and the temperature in the bathroom. The bathroom is warm from the shower or bath whilst the mirror is cold and this difference in temperature causes it to fog up. The mirror defogger warms the mirror to reduce the difference in temperature ensuring a steam free mirror in the bathroom.

Warranty

Thermogroup warranty period for this product: 10 Years.

Thermogroup covers all its products with a satisfaction guarantee. In addition, Thermogroup will supply a replacement product where a fault is shown to be caused by faulty manufacture, materials, or workmanship providing the goods have been installed correctly and according to the installation instructions.

For any manufacturing faults occurring within 12 Months of purchase and requiring a licensed electrician to replace, Thermogroup will arrange troubleshooting and replacement on behalf of the customer. For any manufacturing faults outside of this initial 12 Month period or not requiring an electrician to replace, Thermogroup will supply parts only for the duration of the advertised warranty period and will not cover removal or installation costs.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Thermogroup are not held accountable for:

• Damages or repairs as a result of incorrect installation or application.
• Damages as a result of floods, fires, winds, lightning, accidents, corrosive atmosphere or any other conditions/ situations deemed beyond the control of Thermogroup.
• Use of incompatible components or accessories.
• Products installed outside of Australia.
• Parts not supplied or designated by Thermogroup.
• Damages or repair required as a direct result of any improper maintenance, operation or servicing.
• Failure to power up or start as a result of inadequate/interruption of electrical service.
• Changes in the appearance of the product that do not directly affect the performance of the product.

Cleaning & Care

• Clean with a mix of 30% methylated spirits and 70% water. Avoid harsh chemicals such as window-cleaning products: they break down the mirror’s protective coatings and lead to long-term damage.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth or microfibre towel to apply the cleaning solution.
• Spray the cloth, not the mirror — this helps avoid moisture getting into the edges.
• Gently wipe in a circular motion, then finish with a dry part of the cloth for a streak-free shine.
• Never let water pool or drip around the edges or behind the mirror; the edges and backing are where moisture damages the silvering.
• In coastal areas, wipe the mirror’s edges once a month with a dry cloth to remove salt residue, and keep the room well ventilated.
