Warranty

Studio Bagno warranty for basins: 1 / 10 years — 1 year labour and 10 years replacement product.

Warranty commences on the date of purchase from a Studio Bagno distributor, or on handover for new buildings.

Installers must make a thorough inspection of the product before installation to ensure it is free of defects and breakage. If a fault is found, contact us with proof of purchase to arrange a replacement product.

Should a product with an obvious defect be installed it may still be replaced under warranty, but labour will be the responsibility of the customer or installer.

Warranty will not apply where:

• Purchase of the product cannot be verified.
• The item has not been installed by a licensed installer — for anything connected to water lines this must be a licensed plumber.
• The installer has made custom alterations to the product, such as alteration of cisterns or modification of valves.
• Ceramic or metal parts are damaged by abrasive cleaners, or by cleaning agents containing chlorine or acids.
• Damage is caused by non-compliance with Studio Bagno cleaning instructions.
• A valve runs on because the water lines were not flushed before installation. It is the responsibility of the installing plumber to clean the water lines prior to installation and to ensure the seals and valves function correctly.
• Basins have been fixed to tops or walls with epoxy resin.

Manufacturing variance

Due to the nature of ceramic manufacturing, Studio Bagno products are subject to normal production variances. Dimensions may vary by up to 2% from those stated on the corresponding technical page, and Studio Bagno reserve the right to adjust product dimensions when necessary. All installation work should be carried out with the physical product on site.

Colour products

Colours may vary from the images shown, and photographs of every colour variation are not always available. Coloured products are subject to normal manufacturing variances, so slight differences may occur between production runs or compared with existing samples. Studio Bagno cannot accept liability for colour variation once a product has been installed; inspect the physical product before installation.

Cleaning & Care

• Use a biodegradable dishwashing liquid and water, and wash the product with a paper towel or sponge.
• Rinse with clean water and buff with a clean cloth or paper towel if necessary.
• For scum or residue use white vinegar followed by a rinse with water, and buff if necessary. Alternatively make a paste of bicarbonate of soda and proceed as above.
• White vinegar can also be used, especially on any metal components: it will not degrade the finish and is antibacterial.
• Under no circumstances use chemicals, abrasives, bleach or products containing bleach. These will damage the product over time and will void your warranty.
