What To Expect Of Your Concrete Piece

Nood Co concrete is a natural material. Each piece is unique and will feature ultra fine patina and the lightest air bubbles, such is the nature of the material. Nood Co offer the finest concrete composition and hence deliver a product of stunning consistency with a real world use.

The Nood Co deep seal system, coupled with a series of unique, water tolerating admixes creates a concrete surface with unrivalled abrasion and stain prevention. Nood concrete is a natural material and hence does require some care beyond laminate and ceramic products. Please see below for the correct maintenance and install systems.

Warranty

Nood Co provide a 2 year residential warranty and a 2 year commercial warranty on surface mount, wall mount and freestanding concrete basins, concrete trays, bathtubs, and wall brackets, fixings and assembly point screws. The warranty covers repair or replacement of a structurally defective product or part from the date of delivery. Full warranty terms are published by Nood Co and listed under Downloads.

Care and Maintenance

Concrete is a natural material that can scratch, discolour or stain if it is not properly cared for.

• Using a soft cloth or a dampened sponge, gently clean with soapy water.
• Use a soft brush to reach hard-to-access areas.
• Rinse with clean water and towel dry.
• Clean regularly, ideally weekly, to avoid product build-up.

Avoid

• Chemical or abrasive cleaners such as ammonia or bleach.
• Tile and grout cleaners.
• Abrasive products, scrubbing brushes and scourers, which may scratch the surface.
• Acidic liquids or pastes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately and towel dry.
• High pH products such as paint strippers, undiluted bleach, vinegar or nail polish remover. If exposure occurs, rinse immediately with water.
• Products containing peroxide, such as hair dye or eyebrow and eyelash tinting products.

Nood Co recommend a non-toxic, eco-certified cleaner made primarily from purified water with a low concentration of potassium hydroxide (less than 0.5%).

Thermal shock occurs when a hot object is left on a concrete basin or tray for an extended period. Damage resulting from thermal shock is not covered by the warranty.

Every Nood Co bath and basin is made to order, so change of mind returns are not accepted. Please check the specifications and refer to colour samples before ordering.
