Warranty

15 year overall warranty. The warranty on a finish varies with the finish; refer to the Sussex Taps warranty guide for the specific term. Warranty is void where the product is not installed by a licensed plumber (bathroom accessories excepted), is installed outside the stated pressure and temperature limits, or where the care and cleaning instructions are not observed.

Care and cleaning

• Use a soft cloth with warm soapy water, rinse and towel dry after every use
• For dry-use areas, a soft dry cloth may be used to remove dust or fingerprints
• Wipe gently in one direction only — do not use undue pressure on any finish
• For a deeper clean, use a 50:50 mix of vinegar and water. Wipe with a soft cloth and then rinse immediately with fresh water and gently towel-dry
• Colour always require extra care — soft dry cloth or warm soapy water only
• Clean aerators and shower heads at least every 6 months, or more frequently in hard-water areas. Aerator cleaning is the homeowner's responsibility
• Do not install or clean tapware using acetone-based silicones. Remove any sealant residue from surfaces immediately with clean water
• Protect fittings from paint and trade cleaning products during renovation — cover surfaces until all work is complete
• If any prohibited substance contacts a fitting, rinse immediately with clean water and dry thoroughly
