Warranty

Turner Hastings warrant this product and its components as follows:

• TitanCast Basin: Lifetime

• Warranty begins on the invoice date from the retailer to the consumer. Where the retailer has held the stock for more than 12 months, warranty begins from the date the stock was purchased from Turner Hastings.
• Cover is 1 year parts and labour; any claim made after that period is for parts only. Wear parts — washers, seals and hoses — are covered for 1 year.
• Toilet seats, stainless steel grids and rubber sink mats are replacement-only.
• Commercial use — any shared or public space such as hotels, short-stay accommodation, workplaces and similar multi-user environments — carries the commercial term stated for the product class.
• The product must be installed by a licensed tradesperson, following all installation instructions. Water pressure must not exceed 500 kPa and pipes must be flushed before installation.
• Inspect the product before installation. There is no labour claim where a product was installed while faulty.
• Warranty excludes misuse, damage and improper installation. Natural material variations of up to 2 per cent are normal, and a discontinued item is replaced with a similar product.

Lifetime warranty

Turner Hastings’ lifetime warranties are transferable from one owner to the next and require proof of purchase. They cover repair or replacement of product or parts faulty through a manufacturing defect, not general wear and tear. Replacement labour costs are covered in the first 12 months.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Cleaning & Care

• Clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. As a weekly cleaner, use a suitable sanitary ware liquid cleaner and rinse the surface immediately afterwards; do not let a liquid cleaner stand for extended periods.
• Stubborn marks and fine scratches on a gloss finish can be removed with 1500-2000 grit water paper followed by a car burnishing compound and a soft cloth. On a satin silk (matte) finish, use the Scotch-Brite pad supplied with the bath.
• To disinfect, a weak bleach solution may be left to soak for 20 to 30 minutes. Do not use powders, thinners or dry cleaning fluids.
• Always run hot and cold water simultaneously, delivered to the lowest point of the bath at the waste area, and never above 60 degrees Celsius. Avoid contact with strong chemicals and solvents, and wipe away spillages such as hair dye as soon as possible.
• Use a mild household detergent or warm soapy water and clean with a soft cloth.
