Back to wall or wall faced toilets are the designers choice in toilet suites. Featuring a seamless line between the toilet and wall, these will not only look stunning in your bathroom renovation but also have less holes and curves for dirt and grime to hide. By far the most common and the most popular toilets sold in Australia today. Add instant value to your home by installing a quality, trusted brand names such as Seima, Gallaria and Fienza that have been engineered for Australian plumbing standards.
When buying a back to wall toilet there are two technical specifications to be aware of A) Waste Trap Type. Wall faced toilets feature universal trap fittings, to suit either S Trap or P Trap plumbing pipes. This means you can't go too wrong on specifying a back to wall toilet, however they will not suit a Skew Trap toilet (where the trap goes to the side of the toilet). and B) Water Inlet Type. Be sure to check where the water inlet location of your current toilet is, unless you plan on moving it. Bottom Inlet (BI) enters into the bottom of the cistern (most popular in older homes) via a flexible hose or moulded copper pipe, where a Back Entry (BE) inlet is hidden at the top rear of the cistern and is usually lined up correctly by your plumber to match the cistern.
