KASKADE is limestone at its finest.
The legacy of limestone began in 1992 when a small team of stonemasons from Cape Town who, sharing their fascination for limestone, started fashioning bathroom products and thus contributing to world architecture.
The same team of stonemasons focused their attention on limestone basin manufacturing. Their mission was simple yet complicated; to create an elegant range of beautiful and luxurious basins with timeless appeal. This led to a small collection being introduced to the designer bathroom market in South Africa, the first being the Picolo.
In 1998 the team designed and manufactured their first limestone bath which shared the same organic shape and name as the Picolo basin. Identified as having an European appeal, the bath was launched in the German.
